Keep pulling while walking

I went to a sport center to go for a run. I sat for a while and took a break while watching other people in the field.

I can’t help but notice this girl who keeps on pulling her short pants while walking. I wonder why she wore those pants if she’s not comfortable with it. It seems to me that she wanted to impress the boys resting on one of the benches.

There are people who attract opposite sex using his/her beauty while others pretend to be someone else just to make a good impression.

“When looking for a partner, attitude is what matters most”. Yeah right! It’s easy to say but how many people really use this principle? -- Very few. I’m grateful that I exercised this principle to make a difference. None of my previous relationships lasted because subsequently along the way, I discovered something in them that really turned me off, no matter how I tried to accept it. Though I’ve learned a lot from them, it was been a waste of time and effort because I could have spent it sensibly with the right girl and made a stronger foundation with time.

If you really want to love and not just to make love, look for the right person using your heart and not your eyes.

Big bill... small fare

The shuttle service has already left the terminal when I realized that I need to change one of my 500s for smaller bills, so that it won’t be inconvenient for the driver to look for a change since the fare is only 45 pesos. Then I thought maybe it’ll be ok since there are other 11 passengers in the service, that’ll be enough get a change for 500.

What the heck? – Yeah, why do I need worry about it?

Oh well, let’s just be kind enough to understand that most of our passenger vehicle drivers are victims of poverty. They can’t keep extra money as change for bills bigger than 100 pesos, especially those who are driving tricycles. This reminds me of a tricycle driver who can’t give me a change for 20 pesos when the fare is only 14 pesos. He apologized and told me that he already used the money to buy food for dinner. I almost got irritated but as a person who wanted to make a difference, I just went to a store nearby to exchange the 20 peso bill for coins.

Taking a small responsibility of preparing small bills before riding a passenger vehicle can save us and the others from inconveniency.
